Video: New Paintings by Tony Abeyta for Santa Fe Indian Market

Tony Abeyta is a living treasure. That's not ICTMN talking — the prize-winning Navajo painter was recognized as such in May 2012 at the Native Treasures Indian Arts Festival in Santa Fe. Abeyta calls Santa Fe home these days but grew up in Gallup, at the edge of the Navajo Nation; like many of Indian country's most prominent artists, he's gearing up for Santa Fe Indian Market, which takes place August 16-17.

To whet collectors' appetites, and provide some enjoyment to those who can't be in Santa Fe this weekend, Abeyta put together this video preview of works he'll be showing at Indian country's most prestigious art event.
