ESPN’s ‘Friday Night Fights’ Returns to Little Creek Casino Resort

ESPN’s popular Friday Night Fights series is returning to Little Creek Casino Resort’s Skookum Event Center, in Shelton, Washington, Friday, June 7, with a lightweight international main event. The fight night marks ESPN’s second visit to Little Creek Casino Resort, following a sold-out show and live broadcast on April 12.

Goossen Tutor Promotions and ESPN team up once again for the world-class boxing event featuring John Molina Jr. from Covina, California (25-2, 20 KOs) battling Russia’s undefeated Andrey Klimov (15-0, 8 KOs) for a scheduled 10 rounds.

“We are delighted to have ESPN Friday Night Fights return to Little Creek Casino Resort so soon after our debut show,” said Little Creek Chief Executive Officer Michael Starr. “We know that with ESPN and promoter Goossen Tutor, the fans are guaranteed to see action-packed, competitive bouts on June 7th. The tremendous worldwide exposure we receive from ESPN is a benefit to Little Creek and the Squaxin Island Tribe and we look forward to another great evening of world-class boxing.”

In the semi-main event, super middleweight Farah Ennis (20-1, 12 KOs) of Philadelphia will take on former amateur sensation Anthony Hanshaw (23-2-2, 14 KOs) of High Point, North Carolina. Seven matches are scheduled overall, including an undercard that will feature Washington’s Andres Ramos squaring off against Sammy Perez in a super featherweight bout.

“We are pleased to return to Little Creek Casino for another ESPN telecast,” said ESPN Director of Programming Doug Loughrey.  “Michael Starr and his staff have a tremendous, intimate setting for boxing productions. The Little Creek Casino brings an enthusiastic and engaged boxing fan base and whether watching on ESPN2 or in attendance, fans will see a solid match between Molina & Klimov.”

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the first fight starts at 6:30 p.m. Live broadcast on ESPN2 will begin at 7 p.m. PST (10 p.m. EST).

Tickets for the event are $30 for bleachers, $40 for floor seats and $50 for the first two rows and can be purchased by calling 800-667-7711 or online at Little-creek.com.
