Funny or Die Takes on the Redskins Naming Controversy

Funny or Die, the hugely popular humor website created by funnymen Will Ferrell, Judd Apatow, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy, has weighed in on the Redskins naming controversy. After news broke that D.C. Council member David Grosso was preparing to formally introduce a resolution to push the Washington Redskins to change their name to Redtails, Funny or Die's Jonny Levin seized the opportunity to take a poke at Daniel Snyder, his club and the situation in D.C.

Levin penned "D.C. Councilmen Pressuring 'Washington Redskins' to Make Name Even More Offensive," and it was posted online yesterday. 

"A Washington D.C. Councilman is preparing to introduce legislation calling on the Washington Redskins to change their name to something even more degrading towards American Indians," begins the short satirical "news"' item. Read the rest here.
