MMQB NFL Writer Says The Site Will No Longer Use ‘Redskins’

MMQB, or the Monday Morning Quarterback, a football Website and branch of Sports Illustrated magazine and Sportsillustrated.com, has joined the growing chorus of publications and writers who have decided to no longer use ‘Redskins’ in their prose.

MMQB staff writer Robert Klemko made the announcement to Chris Moore of CBS Sports Radio on Thursday, Deadspin.com reports.

“I know that our site, we’ve talked about it, and we’re not going to use Redskins in our writing,” Klemko told CBS Sports Radio’s MoJo with Chris Moore and Brian Jones, according to Cbslocal.com.

Peter King of MMQB later added that they haven’t made anything official as of yet, reports USA Today Sports.
