Warren Hill, Mohawk, is the Nationals goalie and has had a successful 2014 championship run. In an article by Lacrosse Magazine, the headline read “Hill Stands Tall for Iroquois Amid Team USA Flurry” and on LaxPower.com, in the Nationals’s quarterfinal win against Scotland, Hill was praised, “Scotland gave the Iroquois Nationals all they could handle, but the Iroquois prevailed 10-8 behind a solid 12-save performance from goalie Warren Hill.” In 2013, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) selected Hill as a player of the year and defensive player of the year. Hill also played on the 2012 All-World Team as a member of the Nationals’s U19 squad. That year, he helped the team take home the bronze.

Hill, 22, who played for the Lazers at Onondaga Community College is headed to Syracuse University in the fall. The 5’11”, 200lbs. goalie, is from Oshweken, Ontario, and idolized Jesse Schwartzman, team USA’s goalie as a kid.

"Growing up, when I first started watching lacrosse in about eighth grade or ninth grade, he [Jesse Schwartzman] was at [Johns] Hopkins. I would be glued to the TV screen every Saturday morning, watching him play,” he said. Playing against him all these years later was a pretty cool experience.''

Good luck, Warren!
