ASEDA Fleet Inc., founded by the Absentee Shawnee Economic Development Authority, has partnered with AutoNation to offer American Indians and Alaska Natives access to online car shopping and financing, states an ASEDA press release.
By visiting the ASEDA Fleet website at www.asedafleet.com, tribal members can search through more than 50,000 new and used vehicles by make/model or price/style, view photos and review the Carfax history report. The site also features a personal, non-commission auto consultant to offer unbiased assistance in finding the type of car best suited to meet their needs. The consultant also coordinates the preferred time and place for vehicle delivery.
AutoNation, a $14 billion enterprise, will provide financing through a large network of financial organizations for American Indians in the lower 48. Credit Union 1 in Anchorage, Alaska will offer financing for Alaska Natives, ASEDA Fleet said. The program, which debuted January 24, is currently available in Alaska, California and Florida.
The Absentee Shawnee Economic Development Authority formed ASEDA Fleet in March 2011 when it partnered with Park Lease of Dallas, Texas. The company sells all makes and models of cars, trucks and SUVs, including fuel-saving or environment-protecting low-emission hybrid and diesel vehicles.
