ABC News reports that a group of high school students armed with a video camera and some lightning quick instincts may have captured the mercurial, mythic Bigfoot during a class project in the Idaho wilderness.
In their video you can watch below, a dark, very large looking creature was caught on tape for a few seconds near Mink Creek, before it moves from the left of the screen to the right to make for the treeline.
“It just didn’t look human-like. I don’t know what that is, it’s not a bear, it’s not a moose or anything. It was big and bulky and black,” said the student to ABC News’ Idaho affiliate (he did not want want to be identified on camera.)
As we recently wrote about, Bigfoot has been stomping around the news lately. A European team of researchers plans to put the Bigfoot myth to the test—they are accepting samples of hair and other items that people have claimed were left by Bigfoot for DNA analysis. In 2011, our own reporter Michelle Tirado wrote this piece on looking for Bigfoot in Indian Country.
So what do you think? Is the dark, large figure in the video above a potential Bigfoot?
