The new additions to the Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians’ award-winning Pechanga Resort & Casino in California’s Temecula Valley will be finished by December 2017. Last week, the tribe released its video, “The Next Chapter,” a digital rendering of its forthcoming luxury, four-diamond hotel wing that will house 568 rooms and suites, a luxury spa, new ballroom and meeting space, a resort-style pool complex, two restaurants, and more. Pechanga is also in the running for Best U.S. Casino in the 2017 USA Today 10 Best poll. The public can cast their vote through Monday, July 17, morning.
When the $285 million resort expansion is completed end of year, guests will be able to enjoy 13 restaurants, 1,100 rooms and suites, a 4 ½ -acre pool complex, a luxury spa, tons of event space, a beautiful golf course, and the largest casino floor on the west coast.
Construction put more than 2,500 regional tradesmen and women to work for the two-year build, and now permanent job seekers in the Temecula Valley are vying for the remaining positions up for grabs. Last week’s job fair, focused on the Food and Beverage division, received enthusiastic attendance. Jobs pertained to the resort’s two new restaurants, an additional room service kitchen, a third employee dining room and pool beverage service.
Another job fair is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Eagle’s Nest, targeted at hospital at the resort’s Spa, Golf, Housekeeping, Valet, Bell Desk, Front Desk and Concierge.
Though not mandatory, job seekers are encouraged to apply online before attending the Pechanga job fairs at Pechanga.com/careers.
Last month, out of 1,149 prospective employees who attended the June 15 and 16 hiring fairs, 439 applicants either received job offers or moved on to participate in interviews with department managers.
