At 2pm today a panel of experts, ranging from ESPN SportsCenter anchor Stuart Scott, PGA Tour professional Notah Begay III and Oneida Indian Nation Representative and CEO of Oneida Nation Enterprises Ray Halbritter will discuss the changing dynamics of sports sponsorship at the Turning Stone Resort Casino.
“From philanthropic underwriting, to new opportunities for funding through involvement by Indian gaming interests, hear opinions from a cross-section of experts with unique perspectives, frank commentary, state of the industry expertise and forecasts from the business of sports,” a press release states.
Joining Scott, Begay and Halbritter are sports agent Mark Steinberg (Tiger Woods is one of his clients), Matt Troka, the senior vice president of product and partner management for CDW (official marketing partner of the PGA Tour), and Syracuse University director of athletics Darryl Gross.
These panelists will discuss how marketing dollars are being found and allocated, as well as where the greatest returns can be found. Moderated by the golf channel’s Win McMurry. The round table will be held from 2-3pm at Turning Stone Resort Casino’s Tuscarora Room.
