Freestyle Cage Fighting Returns to FireLake Grand

The Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s FireLake Grand Casino is hosting Freestyle Cage Fighting on Saturday, April 9th!  The main event features Oklahoman Matt Grice and the female Co-Main Event features Erin Toughill.

Matt “The Real One” Grice, from Norman, was a standout as a high school wrestler. He won the Oklahoma State Wrestling Championship four times.  He has fought in the UFC, X-1, Ultimate Texas Showdown, and Freestyle Cage Fighting.

The lady’s Co-Main Event will feature Erin “Steel” Toughill from Huntington Beach, California.  Erin began kickboxing when she was 18, adding Brazilian jiu-jitsu two years later.  When it became evident to her trainer how talented she was, Erin’s ascent into professional fighting began.  Her first professional MMA fight was in September of 1999.

“I have always taken on the challenge.  I love to fight,” said Toughill in a press release.  Toughill brings a 10-2-1 (Win-Loss-Draw) record to the ring.  She has had 4 knockouts.

The fight card also includes a very big surprise; one of the most famous Hollywood movie directors of all time’s daughter is fighting.  Amanda Lucas, daughter of Star Wars legend George Lucas, is a fighter hailing from San Francisco, CA.  She’ll be entering the ring along side other female fighters like Ashley Sanchez from Galesberg, IL; Heather Martin from Jackson, TN; as well as Sarah Maloy from Ada, OK.   The men’s bracket also includes Shane Howell, Brian and Riley Grinnell, and Shawn Brake.

Tickets for this event may be purchased at FireLake Grand Casino, by calling 405-964-7777, or by logging onto their site. Tickets start at $24.
