Genealogy Course Will Focus on Military Records

The Sherburne History Center will present its fifth installment of genealogy programs May 28, Exploring Military Records From the Civil War to World War I for Family History.

Mike Brubaker, the center’s executive director will highlight records at the National Archives and online resources focusing on ancestors who served in the military from 1860 to 1920.

Genealogy programs are expected to resume in September and will include topics like Using the World Wide Web to Search for Ancestors and Searching Cemeteries for Family History Clues.
