History Program Honors Native Women

Historic Native American women will be honored March 24 at 2 p.m. at a Women in History program being presented by the Douglas County Historical Society.

The event is free and will be held at the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395 N., in Gardnerville, Nevada.

Honorees include Dat-so-la-lee, Clara Frank, Suzy Dick, Sue Coleman and Sarah Winnemucca.
