Lenape Program to Cover 12,000 Years of Native History

Educator and archaeologist John Kraft will present a program about the Lenape on July 14 at the Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History, on New York State Scenic Byway at 6615 State Route 97 in Narrowsburg, New York.

The Lenape were the region’s first inhabitants. During the program, scheduled from noon to 3 p.m., Kraft will discuss the formation of the Lenape culture, including European contact and Native displacement. Kraft is the director of Lenape Lifeways Educational Programs, Inc.
