A Florida-based millionaire is accused of walking out on his $1.2 million gambling debt at the Uncasville, Connecticut-based Mohegan Sun, reported the Associated Press.

Plum TV chief executive Jerome Powers of Miami Beach is now pushing for the Connecticut Appellate Court to throw out a ruling that would allow the casino, owned by the Mohegan Tribe, to seize his assets.

The Mohegan Sun first sued Powers to reclaim his gambling debt in civil court in November 2009. Powers claims the credit agreement he signed is void under state law, thus state courts have no jurisdiction related to the tribal-run casino, reported the AP.
