NACA Seeks New Executive Director

The current executive director of the Native American Contractors Association (NACA), Sarah Lukin (Alutiiq), plans to leave Washington D.C. this summer to return home. She hails from the Native Village of Port Lions on Kodiak Island in the Gulf of Alaska. Lukin is a tribal member of the Native Village of Afognak and Port Lions.

NACA is actively recruiting for a new executive director to fill her shoes and “take it to the next level of success for our diverse membership,” states the job description.

“We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who understands the importance of economic self-determination in Indian Country, Alaska Native Villages and Hawaiian Homelands and wants to work with an exceptional team of professionals from across the country to advocate on behalf of America’s indigenous peoples.

NACA offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package. Individuals are encouraged to submit a completed job application, cover letter and resume to jobs@nativecontractors.org. This position will be open until filled.”

NACA, which formed in 2003, is chaired by Lance Morgan, President of Ho-Chunk, Inc., the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska’s economic development corporation.
