The 2011 National Lacrosse League (NLL) All-Star Game, presented by the Oneida Indian Nation, takes place at the Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. The game pits the All-Stars of the Eastern Division against those of the Western Division.
Prior to the game, the NLL will host Fan Fest, starting at 10 a.m., which gives fans the opportunity to meet players during autograph sessions and play the NLL Lacrosse video game against fellow fans.
For those fans who like their action to take place in the three dimensional world, they can also pick up a stick and play actual lacrosse in Rock the Box, a half-court box lacrosse setup open to players of all ages and skill levels. NLL players will be there to teach skills in a spirited, pickup lacrosse style setting. Players are encouraged to bring their own sticks. Rock the Box will provide the goaltenders for the event.
All of these fan events are free, and will take place in the Cypress Conference Area, which is adjacent to the Event Center. Tickets for the All-Star game itself are $20 and $30 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under. You can get them at the Turning Stone Box Office, or you can call (315)-361-SHOW, or toll free at 1-877-833-SHOW. And then there’s always ticketmaster.
