NCAI Native Resources Conference Comes to Wisconsin

The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) will turn Milwaukee, Wisconsin into the epicenter of Indian Country for its mid-year conference on “Native Resources: Tribal Cultures & the Economy”  from June 13-16.

This year’s conference focuses on natural resource issues, economic development and tribal cultures. The NCAI anticipates close to a thousand attendees including leaders from tribal governments and organizations, top United States Government officials and members of the organization.

In addition to the four day conference, on June 14 at noon, the NCAI will hold a press conference to outline the potential impact of the native vote on the 2012 elections, specifically focusing on crucial swing states in the mid west, such as Wisconsin and Minnesota.
