At E3—which stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo, currently in full swing in Los Angeles—the buzz is about the hot upcoming video games, and there are usually a few major titles that command more attention than most, and one of the biggest draws at this year's event is Assassin's Creed 3. The game is the next evolution in the Assassin's Creed franchise, which has been around since 2007. As we've previously reported, this version is set in the Revolutionary War, and the hero is a half-Mohawk assassin named Connor or Ratohnhake:ton (Ra-doon-ha-gay-doo) who was raised as a member of the Mohawk nation.
Game maker Ubi Soft released two official videos as E3 kicked off on Monday; one is the "Official Cinematic Trailer"—which means it is a pretty clip about the game that doesn't really reflect the gameplay—and a video that demonstrates actual gameplay in several different settings. The third video below comes from gaming site ign.com and demonstrates a surprise addition to the game unveiled at Sony PlayStation's massive E3 press event: naval warfare.
