31st Annual UCR Pow Wow, California
When & Where: May 25th-26th at the UCR Sports Complex in Riverside, California.
Celebrating it’s 31st year, this year’s UCR Pow Wow theme is “Honoring Our Warriors.” According to their website, this event is an “inter-tribal social gathering celebrating Native American culture and traditions through singing, drumming, and dancing. Traditional Native American dancers, drum groups, bird singers, and other artists will be present, and vendors will sell food, handmade Native American jewelry, arts and crafts, and other merchandise.” For more information about this site, click here.

Spring Planting Moon Pow Wow, Massachusetts
When & Where: May 26th-27th at the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts Center for Native American Awareness will begin at 11AM each day. Festivities will include tradition wood-splint basket weaving by Victoria Oakes, Inter-tribal dancing, tipis, and more. Pow wow attendees will also be able to enjoy authentic Native American foods like buffalo burgers, frybread, and indian tacos. For more information about this event, click here.
