28th Annual Great Mohican Indian Pow-Wow, Ohio

When & Where: July 13th – 15th at the Mohican Reservation Campgrounds in Loudonville, Ohio.

Gates will open each day at 10Am with the Welcome Song beginning at 10:30AM. Powwow attendees will enjoy special performances and demonstrations by World Champion Hoop Dancer, Daniel Tramper, Flute Maker and Player of the Year Douglas Blue Feather, and more! Admission is $8. Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum Intertribal Pow Wow, New Hampshire

When & Where: July 14th – 15th at the Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum in Warner, New Hampshire.

Celebrating its 13th year, the Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum Intertribal Pow Wow filled with contests and performances. Contests will include Hand Drumming, and Crafting. First place hand drummer will be award a $100 cash prize. Grand entry is at 12PM each day. For more information about this event, click here.

22nd Annual Echoes of a Proud Nation Pow-Wow, Quebec

When & Where: July 14th – 15th at the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory in Kahnawake, Quebec.

This weekend powwow will begin at 9AM each day. Dance competitions will begin at 1PM and 7PM on Saturday and at 12PM on Sunday. There will also be a free Social hosted by the Kahnawake Cultural Center held on Friday at 7PM. For more information about this event, click here.

8th Annual Festival of Native Peoples, North Carolina

When & Where: July 14th – 15th at the Cherokee Indian Fairgrounds in Cherokee, North Carolina.

According to their website, the Festival of Native Peoples is considered “the finest showcase of native dance, song and art in the southeast, the event honors the collective history, customs and wisdom of some of the oldest documented tribes.” Gates open at 11AM each day.
