Players from the Iroquois Nationals and Team USA, often fierce rivals on the field, will be in a much more generous spirit towards each other when they put on a lacrosse clinic prior to their highly-anticipated clash in The Bowhunter Cup at the Oneida Indian Nation’s Turning Stone Resort Casino on Sunday, Oct. 16. The Bowhunter Cup is friendly (but extremely competitive) competition between the Iroquois Nationals and the United States indoor teams.
This awesome practice session, called the Pro Box Lacrosse Clinic, is scheduled for 3:45 – 5 p.m. on the turf at the event center. The Bowhunter Cup will begin at 6 p.m.
“The Pro Box Lacrosse Clinic will feature Iroquois Nationals attackman and Oneida Nation member Brett Bucktooth (Syracuse University/Buffalo Bandits), UnitedStates midfielder Max Seibald (Cornell University/Philadelphia Wings),” an Oneida Nation press release stated, “as well as several other teammates representing both squads.”
Interesting in getting some lacrosse instruction from a pro? For a $20 fee, you will get just that, plus a Bowhunter Cup game ticket ($10 value), a commemorative T-Shirt, and an autograph session with star players like Bucktooth, Seibald, Joel White, John Galloway, Thomas Guadagnolo, Jovan Miller, Dan Hardy, Jeremy Thompson, Cody Jamieson and Sid Smith.
