Record Setting Day for American Indian Quarterback Tyler Bray

In a narrow win over underdog Troy, University of Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray, Citizen Potawatomi Nation, set a new school record with 530 yards passing. His total surpasses the previous record held by now NFL superstar Peyton Manning. Overall, Bray was 29 for 47, throwing for five touchdowns; he thew for 313 yards in the first half alone. His 530 yards passing are the second most in SEC history.

Although Tennessee was a huge favorite, they couldn’t stop the Troy offense and had to rally late. The squads combined for 1,439 total offensive yards in a 55-48 UT victory.
