The Associated Press is reporting that Junior Seau‘s garage was burglarized only days after his suicide. Police say a thief crawled through a doggy door into Seau’s garage at around 2 p.m. on May 7. Seau shot himself in the chest in the home on May 2.
The North County Times reports that police Lt. Leonard Mata said that the burglar rummaged through cabinets in the garage and stole a bicycle that belonged to Seau, worth about $500.
The bike was a gray beach cruiser with chrome fenders and a black seat.
Seau’s home does not appear to have been entered.
