Thunder Valley Casino Resort, in Lincoln, California, will be celebrating Chinese New Year tonight with a big fireworks display. On top of the pyrotechnics, Thunder Valley will also be joining in the celebration at the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco and offering two special Chinese New Year concerts at Thunder Valley’s Pano Hall tonight.
“Thunder Valley had a great Year of the Tiger,” said C.J. Graham, General Manager at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, in a press release. “From the opening of our luxury hotel to our superior entertainment options, we had an outstanding year and we hope our guests will join us in welcoming an equally excellent Year of the Rabbit.”
The fireworks show happens tonight as Thunder Valley celebrates the Golden Year of the Rabbit. The event is free to the public and begins at 9:30 p.m. Guests also have the opportunity to listen to celebrated Hong Kong singer Alice Lau before and after the fireworks display. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. in Pano Hall. Tickets are $48 and $58 for reserved floor seating.
Later in the month, Thunder Valley will showcase its parade float at the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco on Saturday, February 19 at 6 p.m.
Later this month, Crystal Gale comes to the casino on February 18, followed by 80’s Flashback performance from David Pomeranz and Joey Albert on March 5, Eddie Money on March 16, and country music star Darryl Worley on March 18.
