White River Valley Historical Society Offers Free Genealogy Class

The White River Valley Historical Society will be holding a free beginning genealogy research workshop on August 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The day will mostly consist of instructional presentations, but participants are also being asked to bring along the names and approximate birth/death dates of parents or grandparents for genealogical research.

The work shop will be held at the society, located at 297 Main St., in Forsyth, Missouri. Space is limited, reservations can be made by calling 417-546-2210 or by visiting the society website.
