Teotihuacan, the Ancient City of Pyramids and one of the largest urban centers in the ancient world, sits proudly 30 miles northeast of Mexico City, a formidable display of ancient indigenous culture. No one knows who built the imposing pyramids, but the center flourished between 2,100 years and 1,400 years ago.
